My vacations

On my last vacations, I didn't travel. I wanted to go to US but because of the time, I couldn't. I helped my cousin Melannie on her social service during vacations. When I stayed in home, I used to do homework or home cleaning, I mean just to not getting bored. I went out on weekends.. I went to a show, because some friends came from Monterrey, and I wanted to see them. But we just talked a little bit, because they had to go to the house where they were staying. I also get introduced to new friends by my cousin Melannie.

I hanged out with my boyfriend and my cousins. I went to Tampico Centre, I buyed clothes. I went to Vintage with my school friends.I went to my best friend's house, and we made a pijama party. I wanted to go to the beach, but I didn't beacuase beach gets full on those days. How I said before, I helped pretty much with home cleaning, I'm not one of those persons that hang out a lot, but I can say that my vacations were funny but calmed.

Beautiful forever

My friends think I´m crazy. My father says I´ll never get a job now, and my mother is worried that I won´t get married. However, I´m glad I got a tattoo. Last month, I had a beautiful sun design tattooed onto the top of my left arm. It´s smallish, neat and feminine. It won´t get lost like jewerly or wear out like clothing. Even when I am old, I will still have my lovely sun. Although I wear clothing that covers my tattoo. I feel special because I know it´s there. It makes me feel unique and confident. I know some people think tatoos are unattractive, but I love the special look of my new symbol.

Having a part-time job is a valuable experience for high school students. They can learn many hings that are not usually taught in a classroom. For example, they can learn how to work with older people. They also get experience with the business world. Having part-time job gives a students a sense of independence. They can also earn some money to use for college. Education is more than just school subjects. Learning about the real world is also important.

My friends job was a sales clerck in a small clothing shop. It wasn't a difficult job,
and it wasn't really a very interesting job. Dressing neatly and professionally was an important part of the job. every weekend I had to open the store at 10.00 a.m. I couldn't be late. I helped customers find clothes, and I kept the store neat and clean. I learned how to choose and order new clothing. I used the cash register and handled credit cards, so I had to be very careful. thes things all thaught me responsibility. I don't work with clothing anymore, but I still use that important skill I learned in my first job.
